Research On The Narrative Features Of WeChat Literature In We Media Age

As the combination of literature and technology, WeChat literature emerges in the context of narrative turn and media convergence. From the perspective of narratology, this paper takes WeChat circle of friends and the public number platform as the object to analyze the composition and implementation of micro narration in WeChat literature, namely the internal narrative elements in the text of WeChat literature, external narrative subject conversion and the tacit understanding and the dislocation between the narrator and the narrates, etc. From the aspects of literature and everyday life, literature and human emotion, literature and social ideology, this paper reveals the practical significance of WeChat literature and the literature transition in We Media age, and then judges the nature of WeChat literature, looking ahead to it’s future. This paper is divided into six parts:The introduction outlines the development course of narratology and the relationship between literature and media, analyzes the domestic and foreign research status related to WeChat and WeChat literature,then introduces the research ideas, research significance and methods.The first part illustrates the concepts such as "We Media", "WeChat" and "WeChat literature", briefly describes the definition and types of We Media, the emergence and development of WeChat, the definition and expression form of WeChat literature, for later paper will define the range.The second part studies literary narration on WeChat circle of friends. WeChat user’s individual narration on circle of friends copies everyday life, thus maintaining internal consistency with everyday existence, rendered as repetitive narrative time like broken drops, sensibility narrative patterns in emotional style and "word-image" intertextuality narrative means. By the circle of friends to share and reproduced, acquaintance "introduction" of the "stranger" text appears the heteroglossia phenomenon of multiple narrators overlapping within and outside the text, in narrative frequency appearing clusters of repetitive narration and dispersion type repetitive narration. Literary narration on WeChat circle of friends meets the psychological narcissism of users desire to talk and comfort requirements, achieves user’s desire on shaping a personal image in the mirror of "The other" under the intersection sets of private space and public space, which is different from the real self and imagine self, and plays the supervision of ideology and anti supervisory role.The third part researches literary landscape on WeChat public platform. The narrative features of WeChat public number literature are mainly in four aspects:firstly, the variety of themes and flexible narrative genre. Among them, the narrative themes including everyday life and literature hotspots, and the narrative genre in addition to the four major categories of literature, also include interviews, reviews, and other forms; secondly, the ring phase buckle of narrative mode from external to internal text, embodied in layers of nested "window" narrative, ingenious "title party" narrative and mixed media narrative intertwined with "word-image", video and music; thirdly, the two-lane parallel narrative interaction, namely the visual interaction and the background communication at WeChat platform, compared to circle of friends, the form is more diverse, range of audiences more widely and text generation is higher.The fourth part expounds the relationship between WeChat literature and literature transition, analyzes the advantages and challenges of WeChat literature, and the positioning of WeChat literature. In We Media age, the main discourse right of literary has been cleared up, and the literary narrative category has been transformed from grand narrative, small narrative to micro narrative. WeChat literature is the performance and the product of the literature transition, and its appearance urges the boundary and the attribute of literature to be redefined. WeChat literature is not to create a new form of literature, but to provide a new expression form for the increasingly complex literature and art. In the process of literary transition, WeChat has certain superiority, there are also limitations inevitably. However, it can be deep or simple, serious or humorous, to meet the majority of heterogeneous receivers with different levels of literature needs, promoting the arrival of the era of nationwide reading.Epilogue part of the paper sums up the narrative features of WeChat literary, and points out that the cultural features of "harmonious co-existence" in We Media age is overwhelming, we should take the change awareness and open attitude to seize the opportunity and meet the challenge; at the same time, put forward some suggestions for the outlets of WeChat literature from the audience and WeChat itself, and then looking forward to it’s future.
