The Changes Of ’Jiama’s Making, Using And Its Religious Function In Weishan

"JiaMa" was listed as the intangible cultural heritage, more and more attention and protection are paid. With the development of society, the progress of science and technology, great changes have taken place in the Chinese folk religion. To record of this the precious cultural heritage，scholars began to organize and collect "JiaMa" paper, the narrative function and the legence behind."JiaMa" producer also have a new understanding, "JiaMa can not only meet the needs of the people，but also be sold as arts and crafts，they pay attention to cultural industry, although there is no scale so far. There have been many changes in the new era, "JiaMa"s production mode and content have changed. Its development are closely linked with the social changes.With the process of secularization of religion, the emotion of people for "JiaMa" have changed, this paper will explore these changes from the original."JiaMa" belief is widespread in Yunnan folk, Dali area is the most typical. I choosethe field in Dali, the ancient city of Weishan, trying to carry out a comprehensive study on Weishan area.The belief in there is so popular. Based on fieldwork, the "Jiama"paper were collected from everywhere in Weishan area.Describe its function and usage, make changes through the research on the ancient city of Weishan Su’s traditional "JiaMa" and the modern "JiaMa", explore the religious function of’ JiaMa "and changes in its religious function, and from the perspective of religious sociology to explain the reasons behind these changes the exploration research of Yunnan can give "JiaMa" investigator a reference and comparison.
