The C-E Translation Of Texts Of Qingdao Tourism From The Perspective Of Skopos Theory

This thesis analyzes the C-E translation of Qingdao tourism texts from the perspective of Skopos theory. Tourism text is a type of practical texts with specific purposes. The purpose of Qingdao tourism texts is to advertise and attract more and more foreigners.Under the three rules(skopos rule, coherence rule, fidelity rule) of Skopos theory, the author of this paper analyzes Qingdao tourism texts before starting translation. Then, to deal with the key and difficult points, the author adopts three pairs of strategies: literal translation and free translation, foreignization and domestication; communicative translation and semantic translation to produce an expected translation.
