In current society, people in rural areas and cities go faraway places for work, which causes the flow of population and also makes the number of stay-at-home children continually increase. Stay-at-home children live in incomplete families and this leads to their study and emotional problems. Thus, it has given rise to a series of social problems and attracts a wide attention of all sectors of society. Stay-at-home children refer to the children whose parents or parent goes out to work but they are left in the rural areas or towns. These children are usually looked after by father, mother, grandparents or relatives, or even the friend of their parents. Lack of family education and the missing of family affection are immediate cause of stay-at-home children’s mental problem. At present, the study on stay-at-home children’s mental problem is very wide, but the research on stay-at-home junior school students is not perfect. The time in junior high school is a gold stage in life and students’body and mentality is at important turning point, so it is of great significance to study the psychological changes of stay-at-home junior school students.Father’s absence has different names at home and abroad and it is also called father’s missing. It refers to that children lack the education from their fathers in the course of growing up and hardly or cannot receive the love from their fathers out of various reasons, such as father going out to work, separation, divorce or even death. The main embodiment is that father hardly or does not participate in their filial growing process and does not have sufficient input on their filial education and emotional exchange, or even father does not educate his offspring and have emotional exchange. Affected by social general ideas, fathers are economic pillars of the family, so it is proper that they are less involved in or even do not involve in educating and raising the offspring. But the role of mother cannot replace the father, so the topics of father’s education and father’s participation are valued, which has been a research target of the scholars and the focus of the social concern.The research can be divided into two parts:research one uses the questionnaire of father’s absence of junior school students, simple coping modes scale and aloneness scale to conduct a research on 852 junior school students in Guangxi and Guangdong provinces. The research is to explore the relationship among father’s absence, coping modes and aloneness to learn about the basic conditions of the current father’s absence of stay-at-home junior school students; richen the research on the relationship among father’s absence of junior school students, simple coping modes scale and aloneness and discuss the influence of father’s absence on the aloneness and coping modes of stay-at-home junior school students; explore the relationship among father’s absence, coping modes and aloneness and provide scientific basis for solving the aloneness and coping modes of stay-at-home junior school students. The research two adopts case and interview analysis and conducts researches on stay-at-home junior school students andnormal junior school students, father’s presence of junior school students and father’s absence of junior school students.Through the research, the author comes to the following conclusion:1.Father’s presence of junior school students has certain influence on their school record and the school record of female junior school students are most influenced by father’s absence.2.1n terms of the evaluation on peer relation, the differences of junior school students with father’s presence and normal junior school students are the most remarkable.3.There exist the significant differences in dealing with dimensions of junior school students with father’s presence and normal junior school students.4.The aloneness has something to do with coping mode. The total score of aloneness and the total score of coping mode, as well as active coping, active concern on problem and active concern on emotion takes on negative correlation; active response of coping mode, active concern on problem and active emotional concern on dimension, the total score of aloneness and its various dimensions takes on significant positive correlation.5.The stay-at-home junior school students and their fathers’ emotions are affected to some degree after their fathers go out to work.
