In the 21 st century, International economic, technological and cultural exchanges are increasingly frequent. With the increasing internationalization and modernization of higher education in China, it has become a very important subject that senior specialized talents with strong professional skills and English application ability should be cultivated. ESP is the kind of English subject with a strong practice which is adapt to modern social development.However, due to historical and realistic reasons, there are a lot of problems about ESP teaching, such as the whole quality of teachers is not high, the teaching methods are old and boring, students pay low attention to ESP etc.. These problems restrict the effectiveness of ESP teaching. Therefore, Improving the teaching quality of ESP is an effective way to cultivate senior specialized talents.During study, emphatically starting with CDIO education concept connotation, the characteristic, analyze and study the relevant degree between CDIO education concept and the teaching requirements of cultivating senor ESP talents. It tries to introduce the CDIO complete education system into ESP teaching. Optimally Choose several kinds of ESP teaching strategy and the integrated application which are practical, systematic,comprehensive and maneuverable to achieve the goal of effectiveness of ESP teaching,improve the quality of ESP personnel training to provide certain foundation and reference for colleges and universities to cultivate English talents with high quality. The paper is divided into five parts as follows:The first part is the introduction which mainly elaborates the research background of this paper, the general research situation and comments at home and abroad, the purpose,significance, content and methods of the study, relevant concept definition and the theoretical basis of the research.The second part is about the development courses of ESP and the status of ESP teaching.The third part is about the ESP teaching innovation based on CDIO Education Concept.The forth part mainly introduces the selection and transmission of teaching strategy based on CDIO Education Concept.The fifth part is the core part of the paper. It discusses the selection and design of ESP teaching strategy based on CDIO education concept. This part mainly introduces the design and application of four kinds of teaching strategy. And study the integrated application of Four-in-one ESP teaching strategy.
