Research Of The Yishi Edition

The edition of Yishi is the most comprehensive edition of Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio, it is earlier than other editions, and it keeps its source edition everywhere. However, it has not get the attention of the academia. The research to its source, time, and the relationship between other editions is less.The article attends to study the differences between the edition of Yishi and the original manuscripts the differences between the edition of Yishi and the edition of Zhuxuezhai, also it attends to study the taboo of the edition of Yishi to prove that it exists two edition system of Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio, one is eight-volume system,the other is sixteen-volume system. The eight-volume is the source of the original manuscript, the sixteen-volume is the source of the edition of Yishi, the edition of Zhuxuezhai, the edition of Wang jinfan. The edition of Yishi belongs to the sixteen-volume system, which is much different from the original manuscript’s, eight-volume system. In this process, through the rigorous argumentation and detailed information, to study all aspects of the edition of Yishi.This article includes introduction, body and conclusion.,this three parts。The introduction part describes the research overview of Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio,the discovery and the research of the edition of Yishi and the basic components and innovation of the thesis.The body of the thesis is divided into four chapters, the first chapter study the source of the edition of Yishi. Through the differences between the edition of Yishi and the original manuscipt,t he difference between the edition of Yishi and the edition of Zhuxuezhai, to prove that the edition of Yishi and the original manuscript aren’t in the same edition system. However, the edition of Yishi and the edition of Zhuxuezhai are in the same edition system. To prove that when Pu Songling is alive,the eight-volume edtion and the sixteen-volume both exist. The edition of Yishi belongs to sixteen-volume. The chapter three is studying the transcribe time of the edition of Yishi. Through the taboo character of the editon of Yishi, the preface and the posfaco of the editon of Yishi to explore the accurate writing time of the edition of Yishi. The chapter four studies the relationship of the edition of Yishi and the edition of Wang Jinfan,through the differences between the edition of Yishi and the edition of Wang Jinfan to prove the edition of Yishi is the source of the edition of Wang Jinfan. The fifth chapter describes the relationship of the edition of Yishi and the edition of Zengshi. For the edition of Zengshi is the source of the edition of Wang Jinfan,and the edition of Yishi exists the taboo of Zeng, its writing time is near to the edition of Zengshi, to prove that it is possible that the edition of Yishi is the edition of Zengshi. The conclusion is the summary of all the problems.
