| Cangwu county locates at the border of two sub-dialects in Cantonese spoken areas.In this thesis,we choose the vocabulary element of the Cangwu dialect to talk about and try to get a clear understanding of the language contact forms in this region by describing the vocabulary of this dialect spot and make a contrast and lexical similarity analysis between it and other sub-dialects like Goulou yue dialect and Guangfu yue dialect around it.We also especially focus on the underlying component in the southern minority language and the lexical similarity quantitative analysis between these sub-dialects/which is also a place invoving less attention nowadays.By processing a research like this may help filling gaps in language contact pheonomena and produce some considerable value as well.This thesis consists of seven chapters.Chapter one is an indroduction,describes the county profiles,from the perspective of the document tracing back the condition and cause of the ethnic population in the aera,proving there is a reasonable premise to have underlying component in local vocabulary and make a review on the research related to this topic.Chaper two gives a brief introduction on the vernacular phonetic system and summarizes the tabulation of constantly using characters in Cangwu.Chapter three mainly esplains the resource of the lexical materials gathering by word to word assembling and tradional survey.Chapter four reveals the characteristics and several lexical-formation features of the vocabulary in Cangwu.Chapter five discusses the main soucrces of the local vocabulary,constituted by underlying terms,achaisoms,loan and locally-generated words and give the corresponding examples afterward.In chapter six,we conducts an lexical similarity quantitative contrast within Guangzhou,Wuzhou,Cangwu three places and makes a forecast of the vernacular developing trend of Cangwu,according to the result.Chapter seven is the final chapter,make a conclusion on the full thesis. |
