A Study On [Tongchengge] Of Ming And Qing Folk Songs

"Tongchengge"was once one of the most popular ming and qing folk songs, which derived from folk songs of Anhui that was popular in the area of Wuzhong, and was developed since Wanli period of the Ming dynasty. "Tongchengge"is wildly circulated by its readability and peculiar musical form. But it was disappeared from traditional musical culture gradually for some reason. Fortunately, "Tongchengge"was disseminated to Japan and Chinese Taiwan with the help of overseas musicians, even though it didn’t appear in domestic music. And it became the most important component of the music of Japan and Chinese Taiwan.This literature is aimed at studying the history, feature, musical forms and tracks survived to today from many aspects such as music, history and literature, with the method of other subjects. Analyzing from different aspects can reveal the artistic value and the law of development of "Tongchengge"in the Chinese traditional music. And draw more scholars’attention to "Tongchengge"which is wildly circulated once but disappear in today’s traditional music.
