Real Persona And Fake Reality

At the beginning of the paper, the background and meaning will be introduced. At the first chapter, I will describe the trend of though of Western Literary, the development of expressionism, the influence of expressionism on O’Neill drama scripts. What’s more, I will analysis the process of development of Psychology and the phenomenon of Persona. At chapter two, define the word "Persona". I will analysis the influence of scripts written by August Strindberg and Luigi Pirandello. Compared with the two dramatists, I will argue the points of concept of "Persona" of them. Chapter three. I will represent three types of ’persona’, like’Divided persona’’Twisted persona’ and’Concealed persona’. Chapter four, I will statement the diversity of characteristics of ’phenomenon of Persona’ in O’Neill’s scripts. Chapter five. I will analysis the relation between people’s characters and’Persona’, discuss it from the angle of’Circle people’and’Plat people’. Also discuss it from the angle of’Typical personality’and’Typical environment’. Finally, I will analysis the scripts from the angle of Psychology.
