Gan-Qing Unique Minorities’ Education Research During The Period Of The Republic Of China

To the Republic of China, the education in Dongxiang, Bonan, Salar Nationalities who are native in Gansu, Qinghai region has evolved from traditional one to modern one. Under the great internal and external social and historical change, Dongxiang, the old mosque education in these nationalities showed severe lag.Rooting in the native’s minds, the inherent social structure, religious and cultural, institutional practices, cultural values of whom developed along with the education. Early Republic rise modern school education can not nor can completely replace their traditional education. Therefore, in the Republic of China Period, there do exist characteristics which separately derive from the traditional and the modern both in their education. This feature brings conflicts in these two kinds of education, as well as interactive games between both.
