Yhe Taoism Study In Ang Lee’s Films “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”

Director Ang Lee himself and his films have made great impacts on the whole world, which is of important research value. Ang Lee, a Chinese director, succeeded in making remarkable achievements in international film circle, which to a large extent attributed to his unique growth environment and education receipted. In Ang Lee’s films, it’s easy for us to find factors of traditional Chinese culture and realize the increasing blending and combination between Chinese and western culture. Ang Lee may be regarded as a representative of cross-cultural filmmakers, whose works always reflect the harmony of culture.This article mainly focuses on the Taoism reflected in Ang Lee’ s movie.
