Nanjing National Government lunched the movement of banning on opium-smoking and the opium trade from 1935 to 1945. This movement was divided into two periods.The first period was from 1935 to 1940 called “drugs banning for two years, opium banning for six years”. The second period from 1941 to 1945 was the period of dealing with the aftermath of the opium banning. Although Nan Jing National Government lunched this movement aiming at maintaining its won ruling, for banning opium, it got achievement anyway. It is a very serious problem about smoke poison in sichuan province at the time.Not only there is a large area and high yield of opium. The number of opium and more. And in east sichuan region,it is very outstanding of smoke poison problem in the whole sichuan province. So, in the national anti-smoking campaign about national government. Sichuan and eastern sichuan region to carry out the campaign,It is worth to explore what they get the experience and lesson.The paper investigates the problem of opium planting, trading, sucking and banning in the tenth region in Sichuan from 1930 s to 1940 s. It emphasizes its solutions implemented by the central and local government and the evolution of the measures and policies in local. This article investigates anti-smoking organization, personnel, funds and the use of relevant laws and regulations in the 10 th district.Especially investigation of mainly process about smoking, it had been considered getting some effect of smoking ban, but it is far from complete because of its own limitations.We can still find some useful and positive reference from the ban smoking of national government.
