With the development of our social economy, the Snow Expo, important national cultural soft power, which has attracted so many tourists in home and abroad, has been an essential part of Harbin tourism economy. Therefore, the publicity texts of the Snow Expo have been vital methods and ways to know the development of Harbin and the culture of snow and ice for all the tourists. Meanwhile, the translation of the texts would be a crucial medium for cultural output and publicity with communication. The main idea of this paper is to discuss and deal with the problems and difficulties in it from two perspectives which are the trans-cultural features and translation aesthetics. In the process of translating, what we should do is to try our best to ensure the accuracy of the information,the culture connotation, the aesthetic perception of the original text.There are five chapters totally in this paper.The first chapter mainly introduces the requirements and basic condition of the text from the translation company and tells us the general content of the task. The second chapter, including some essential preparations in the process of translating, mainly comprises the preparations of the theory, the analysis of the parallel texts, the features of language and the cultural features of the original text. Meanwhile, in this part, the chapter also makes a design and monitors the process of this paper. The third and the forth chapter are the cores, discussing the translation and analysis of the paper from the perspective of cross-culture and aesthetics. In the third chapter, the paper makes an analysis and conclusion on these representative examples chosen from the original text, in allusion to these questions, such as the cultural phenomenon included in the main research text, how to represent cross-cultural characteristics in the translation process, how to master the cultural image of culture-loaded words and vocabularies in the text, how to represent and translate the cultural connotations of idioms and other questions. In the forth chapter, the paper analyzes the aesthetic effect in the target text from the perspective of aesthetics including the master of rhythm and melody, the choice of vocabularies and selection of four-character structure, and mainly discusses the deficiency and detainment of aesthetic feeling and English in the translation process, including the aesthetic difference of fuzz beauty,the reasons of aesthetic feeling deficiency, and how to make a inter-lingual transfer. The fifth chapter makes a simple analysis and summary on the practice.In conclusion, the author of this paper has chosen the two perspectives, cross-culture and aesthetics to analyze and conclude the translation, making a well-founded comparison in the practice of the translation, which can better strengthen the quality of translation and author’s translation ability and level.
