In the article, we try to use acoustic experiments to study the tones of Shahe dialect, to obtain the quantitative acoustic values and normalization, so as to get an pattern of the tones of Shahe dialect.The thesis is mainly divided into four parts, the content is as follows:The first part mainly introduces the modern experimental phonetics research and Hebei traditional dialectology background, introduces Shahe dialect phonetic system and relevant background. It states the research methods and procedures of the experiments.The second part studies the mono-syllable tone in Shahe dialect. To analyze the difference from different regions genders and ages, so as to get every mono-syllable tones pattern of Shahe dialect. On this basis, we try to use acoustic experiments to study the duration that is important to the reference, and the study found that lt is obvious that exists short and long distinctive feature between Rusheng and other tones.In the fourth part, firstly, studies the disappearance of the glottal stop in some syllables of the short tone vowels. Secondly, It discusses Rusheng’s degrees of weakening and rule. It proved that the disappearance of the glottal stop don’t show obvious discipline, and some randomness.
