Contemporary Literature As one of the key theory of "identity" plays in feminism, post-colonialism, gay research in areas such as a very important role in the results obtained is exceptionally rich, eye-catching. Identity as a potential crisis is always either explicitly or implicitly in varying degrees of overseas Chinese diaspora generate troubled process of Chinese immigrants in Western culture is close to each other, communicate with each other, the collision of a process both fierce clash of different cultures so that these immigrants inevitably produce mental agony and identity crisis. The cut overseas Chinese literature from the perspective of identity, is reinterpreted overseas diaspora writers from another dimension, in the works of writers diaspora issues of identity-building process analysis and sort out, but also reflects the overseas Chinese diaspora fiction writer pursuit of self-creation and confirmation of the identity of the effort.The introduction includes basic contents of this topic, research status and significance of the research topic of three parts, focusing on the perspective of several studies about identity.Text is divided into three parts. First and foremost on the "identity" of the background of this theory produce specific concepts and paradigms briefly combing, thus clarifying its basic meaning; secondly mainly as an important part of the Overseas Chinese Literature in Chinese Literature in North America Four stage of development brief introduction, at the same time the "Diaspora" concept and "Diaspora Literature" introduced among overseas Chinese literature and identity focuses on the important role of overseas Chinese literature research; the last major on Bai, Yu Lihua, Nie Hualing three authors’biographies and works brief analysis of specific cases binding text writers and their works, and peruse criticism, cultural criticism and other methods to use traditional text, analyze the importance of the subject in the context of heterogeneous identities constructed.
