Research On Li Shangyin’s Qi

Li Shangyin is very representative antithesis prose writer in late Tang Dynasty, in his official experience and toss process of a few shogunates, he has a lot of Qi literature style, this paper studies Li Shangyin’s Qi literature style as object, classifies existing 76 Qi literature styles in content, from even, allusion, rhythm, embellishments in writing etc, it explores achievements and characteristics of Li Shangyin’s Qi literature styles.The first part in this paper is introduction. This part mainly introduces Li Shangyin’s articles creation, preservation and its research status, which is divided into two sections: firstly, it summarizes creation and preservation of Li Shangyin’s articles generalizes Li Shangyin version spread situation; secondly, it briefly summarizes research status of Li Shangyin’s articles.The second part is overview of Qi literature style. It has two parts:Firstly, it explores origin of Qi literature style, describes function of Qi literature style; Secondly, set of Qi literature style details work style and variations.The third part is to summarize categories of Li Shangyin’s Qi literature style. The chapter is divided into two categories of Qi literature for others and Qi literature for himself. Qi literature for others is divided into Qi literature for thanking people, Qi literature for congratulation, and other Qi literatures. Qi literature for himself is divided into Qi literature for superior,Qi literature for thanking people,Qi literature for congratuation and other Qi literatures. This chapter details and summaries content of each kind of Qi literature style.The fourth part analyzes language style and artistic characteristics of Li Shangyin’s Qi literature style. This chapter is divided into four sections. The first section is mainly about antithesis characteristics of Li Shangyin’s Qi literature style. It mainly describes from two aspects:the first is combination of antithesis and prose flexibly; the second is that it has long and short sentences as well as good antithesis. In the second section, it mainly talks about Li Shangyin’s Qi literature style allusions in detail. It discusses characteristics of elegant Qi literature style allusions, combination of lexicon and encyclopedia. In the third section, it analyzes rhythm characteristics of Shangyin’s Qi literature style. In the fourth section, it introduces and analyzes language style of Li Shangyin’s Qi literature style. It mainly discusses from two aspects:the first is to pay attention to polish the language as well as excellent in language and content; the second is that he is good at layout, clear hierarchy and highly stylization.The fifth part summarizes historical status and influence of Li Shangyin’s Qi literature style. Firstly, through Li Shangyin’s Qi literature style artistic achievements and characteristics, this paper summaries Li Shangyin’s Qi literature style’s history position in Qi literature style development and antithesis prose development. Secondly, according to reference and evaluation of the next generations of scholars of Li Shangyin’s Qi literature style, it summaries effect of Li Shangyin’s Qi literature style on later Qi literature style creation and creation of antithesis prose, especially the influence on Xikun faction in early Song and Santang faction in Qing dynasty.
