All literary creation comes from life. Any writer’s reflection of the world possessed the characteristic of the times. Wang Meng’s novels vividly reflected the paternalism of the society and the development of history.Through combing his works and the existing research results, the traditional view was that Wang Meng’s novels should be divided into three stages, including the stage of struggle, the moderate stage and the stage of tolerance. No matter other people’s three point method and multi branch method, this paper considers that Wang Meng novel have passed through two stages from the Revolutionary Romanticism to modern rationalism speculative two stages of change:from the first article published "red bean" to the representative work of revolutionary realism and romanticism "long live youth" was regarded as the first stage; today although Wang Meng still insist on writing, but he was walked along the road of realism creation and come back to life. At the same time, by the time of writing this paper, so from "the cloth gift" to the today’s creation was considered as the second stage. Among them, the "green Fox" regarded as a model in thought and art could be used as a breakthrough in the analysis of Wang Meng’s creative transformation. This article will start from the subjectivity of literature, divided it into five parts to explore the creative transformation.The first part started from the theory of literary creation and focused on the analysis the evolution of novel idea. Wang Meng abandoned the early simple kind of revolutionary enthusiasm, get liberation from the shelter of authoritarian ideology.With a critical eye and the dialectics of the philosophy of Lao Zi and Zhuang Zi, he realized the human history and the true picture of the origin of the world and life to explain the objective existence in the Double-construction of humanity and history. Finally we can see the transition from the writing of revolution to after the revolutionary poetics.In the second part, based on the perspective of the character image, the key point is to analyze the change of characters’ ideas and characters. Wang Meng’s early works used the creation method of "three prominent", according to the paradigm of "high large whole" portrayed the major, exchanged of the flat and formulaic for authenticity. This eventually pushed the revolutionaries with corona to the historical foreground. After returning, Wang Meng maintained a high degree of vigilance to the history, using a spirit of objective and rational to deconstruct the noble, actively going deep into rich real life, having insight into the complex human nature. It finally formed some distinct characterization.The third part started from the narrative mode, focusing on the analysis of traditional narrative mode that accepted western theory to grafting and breakthrough. Wang Meng’s early works structure represented as monotonous narrative mode that could not mobilize the reader’s reading mood and could not get out of the stereotype of the political narrative mode. After referred the Western polyphonic theory, he dedicated to discovery the multiple text context and break the penalty areas of body narrative and desire narrative to make literature rooted in the changing reality of the soil.The fourth part started from its own properties and functions of language, focused on the transition of language style and expression way. Wang Meng’s early works were affected by political passion.The richness of the language was highly compressed, making the context dried. With the introduction of Saussure’s linguistic theory, her later creation made efforts to tap the potential of language, freely, confessions. That created a hubbub of tension and played soul world movement enveloped in the torrent language.The fifth part based on the height of the literary aesthetic, summarized the unique value of the work and called for the return of the subjectivity. Wang Meng’s early works followed the creation principle of collectivism, creating a predisposition to utilitarianism with the purpose of transforming society. The strong ideal color buried in some empty moralize, meanwhile replaced the true human nature to the grand picture of history. Wang Meng’s later gradually stay away from rights discourse center, looking for beauty on the edge of life, keeping alert and aloof to the historical, walking in the edge of life, inspired by the humanitarian idea and the philosophy of Lao Zi and Zhuang Zi.This article analysed the changes of WangMeng’s works in the early and later, based on the elements of literary works. We could find that literature was the product of the times and cultural thoughts leaded creative direction. The writer could transcend the class and political factors, standing on the height of the humanities concern to shoulder their mission with a real, aesthetic, transcendental concept.
