Lu muzhai, a Chinese famous modern educator, bibliophile and businessman, experienced late Qing dynasty and the Republic of China 1912-1949.No matter in or out of court, he always dedicated to the establishment of educational and cultural career., involving the establishment of new modern library and school, and the publishment of cultural ancient books. For publishing cultural ancient books, he mint-marked Shen Shi Ji Zhai Collection, Posthumous Papers of Xianzheng in Hubei Province, Mianyang Collection,Evolution and Ethics and Study of Ancient Rhetoric.Lu Muzhai, a enlightened intellectual in an era of revolution, with advanced thought, he proposed abolishment of imperial examinations and establishment of new schools.
