In teaching Chinese as a foreign language, Cultures teaching has been widely received by scholars and teachers teaching Chinese. In TCFL, there are lots of research results related to cultures teaching, while the researches on the arrangement characteristics of cultural factors in the TCFL textbooks are rather weaker. Therefore, strengthening the research on cultural factors in the textbooks will have much significance in better exerting textbooks in TCFL and promoting to issue cultural program as soon as possible. Taking the factors in the Developing Chinese comprehensive textbook (six books totally) as the object of study and in terms of the definition of intellectual culture and communication culture, this paper classifies the cultural factors in the textbook, gives out the number of intellectual culture and communication culture in each lesson in details and works out the proportion of each cultural factor.As the focal point of culture teaching in the Chinese as a foreign language, the communication culture in the textbook discussion is the key part in this paper. In accordance with Zhao Xianzhou’s and others’ researches on communication culture and classified standards and the reality, the author integrates the communication culture factors in the textbook and put forward his own classified standard. Under this standard, the communication culture factors in the six textbooks are counted and studied. On the analysis of the cultural factors in the textbook, the advantages and disadvantages of the arrangement in the textbook are pointed out; at last, according to the related theories of culture teaching and intercultural communication, some suggestions are given out to the arrangement of cultural factors in this textbook.
