The culture of commercial gang of Ji Zhou was formed in the age of Late Qing and Early Republic Period, with the characteristics of gathering up and binding officials and merchants together. Although it has some limitations, the contribution it made in history is still referential for the development of the commercial trade of Ji region in nowadays.Merchant culture was formed gradually by commercial gang with practical experience in a long time. Ancient Ji Zhou was lack of natural resources but rich in human resources. The development of agriculture and handicraft industry promoted the exchange of commodity, and the transportation and security provide a guarantee for commercial trade. Thus, the commercial awareness in Ji Zhou was so deep and business talents appeared one after another.The development of ancient Ji Zhou business went through several stages of pre-Qin, Han, Sui and Tang, Song and Ming, Qing period. Jizhou business industry in modern times was miracle at one time, with wide items of business and lots of famous business celebrities. The culture of commercial operation of JiZhou gang were credit management, faith-keeping by virtue, hard-working and solidarity.However, the commercial culture of Ji Zhou gang also has some deficiency such as out-of-date mode, confused management, weak gumption and messy organization. Because of the out-of-date mode, narrow-minded of region, and the great changes of native political situation, the commercial gang of Ji Zhou declined finally.The culture of Ji zhou commercial gang is still of great value in modern times. The culture of Ji Zhou commercial gang should be learned for the synergetic development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei.
