On Documentary Subtitles E-c Translation From The Perspective Of Eco-translatology

On the basis of the Documentary Subtitles in Britain Fieldsports Channel on Youku, this report is about an introduction, research and summary of the translation task. And it mainly consists of four parts including task description, process description, case study and conclusion. Task description is the introduction part, where a brief introduction is given to the source of the translation project, the description of the project, the background of the documentary subtitle translation and the aim and significance of this report. Process description is mainly about the process description of completing the task including preparation for the translation and translation process. Case study is the analysis part. It enumerates three features about this Documentary Subtitle and then introduces the theory of Eco-translatology, concentrating on the “three-dimension transformation” concepts, which lays a theoretical foundation for the analysis, and then illustrates and analyzes the solutions to difficulties in the translation concerning the differences between two language texts in terms of Linguistic-dimension, Cultural-dimension and Communicative-dimension. At the same time, this part also puts forward the applied translation skills and methods. In the last part, the author makes a brief summary of this report, and talks about the harvest and feelings after completing the translation task.
