Today with the rapid development of Computer Numerical Control(CNC) technology, it makes high demands on the senior operating personnel of the forefront production line. NC programming, operation and maintenance of the imported equipment need a solid foundation for professional English. It also makes higher requirements to the vocational school students who major in CNC. But because of the students’ weak foundation in English and the disconnect between CNC teaching and ESP teaching, the students are lack of professional English learning interest and initiative, which cannot achieve the ideal teaching effect.The author takes N Vocational Education Center School as an example, analyzes the existing problems in CNC ESP teaching in vocational school through questionnaires, and proposes collaborative teaching approach. It can help the vocational school students to improve the professional English competence, so that they can freely use the ESP knowledge to solve the problems that may arise in the future occupation that they will engage in. This thesis is carried out by focusing on the following three questions: What aspects are mainly included in collaborative teaching in CNC ESP teaching in vocational school? How can we carry out CNC ESP teaching based on collaborative teaching? What enlightenments can be brought about while carrying out CNC ESP teaching based on collaborative teaching in vocational school?Based on the cooperative culture of teachers and the learning community theory, the author applies the collaborative teaching approach to the real teaching practice, in order to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of collaborative teaching approach, and meanwhile presents three stages of collaborative teaching approach: analysis and design, implementation and evaluation and reflection and discussion. Finally, in order to improve and promote the CNC ESP teaching in the vocational school, the author puts forward some thoughts and enlightenments of collaborative teaching approach in CNC ESP teaching. |
