Discussion About The Creativity And Development Of The Forms Of Zangjian’s Claborate-style Painting

Chinese painting has gradually changed with the introduction of Western painting arts. This change becomes increasingly distinct entering contemporary times. Numerous painters also bring about great changes though their constant exploration. Zhang Jian is one of the representative painters of modern elaborate-style painting who is not satisfied with traditional forms of expressions and keeps exploring new ones, thus illustrating a new form of aesthetics of modern elaborate-style painting.In this essay, I have a deep research into and discussion about the forms of expressions of Zhang Jian’s new figure painting, covering lines, formation language, color language, shapes of composition and contents of expressions.
