In recent years, theory of visual has been a hot topic. In the past 30 years, The focus of contemporary visual culture has become the main theoretical breakthrough point, discussion and research on visual has become an important topic of the academia. Since the last century, the study of visual thinking began to gradually cause the attention of academic circles. However, from the west to China, in the research on the visual thinking is mostly concentrated in the modern aesthetic activities within the scope of few involved in Chinese classical aesthetics category. As early as in the Pre-Qin period, the human visual thinking occurs, the aesthetic activities of the generation and development and long influence on the traditional Chinese aesthetic concepts. In the Pre-Qin aesthetics from the perspective of visual thinking and inquiry will be the classical aesthetic idea of kernel let us have a more in-depth and more complete view.In this paper, the visual thinking in the pre-Qin esthetics research is divided into three parts, a total of six chapters. The introduction is about the research situation of introduction, at the same time to define the concept of visual thinking. The first part is chapter 1, discusses the visual thinking in the development of the history of the pre-Qin aesthetics. The development of the history is according to the degree of visual thinking in the pre-Qin Aesthetics present deepening and theme conversion and roughly divided into two big historical periods, namely primitive period and the period of Xia.
