The Contrast And Translation Of Personal Pronouns Between Chinese And Thai

Building on the basis of previous studies this thesis is going on to explore the characteristics of Chinese and Thai pronouns in different discourse structure, pragmatic function and application of language field. The full text content is divided into five chapters.The first part explains the origin, significance, objectives scope and methods of the study as well as an overview of the research status of personal pronouns in Chinese and Thai. At present, few scholars are devoted to the study of personal pronouns between Chinese and Thai and the views of these papers have just appeared in the journal. The research scope is limited to the category of modern Chinese and general Thai personal pronouns.The second part is an overview of personal pronouns in Chinese and Thai, as well as the forms of personal pronouns in modern Chinese and Thai are the same: the first personal pronouns, the second person pronoun and the third personal pronouns.The third part is the comparison of Chinese and Thai translation of monks and the personal pronouns that monks use. Whether in Thailand or China, Buddhism had an impact on the pragmatic, also reflected in the use of personal pronouns. The use of these among monks and the use to them about personal pronouns in Chinese and Thai is similar or even the same.The fourth part is the comparison of Chinese and Thai Royal language translation. Modern Thai among royal families is using their own language, but it has disappeared in modern Chinese. The study about the Royal language relevant to personal pronoun is derived from the comparison of ancient Chinese and modern Thai, and the semantic and pragmatic functions are similar or the same.The fifth part is the comparison of the translation among Chinese and Thai of the general personal pronouns, because the modern Chinese personal pronouns have been unable to accurately express the respect of the language while Thai personal pronouns with respect to many expression and meaning. The researcher focuses on modest ancient Chinese and Thai by comparison and translation. The last part is the conclusionIn terms of the pragmatic and semantic aspects of personal pronouns and the appellation in Chinese and Thai there should be enough space to compare with the corresponding. Due to the author’s limited ability and time, Chinese and Thai personal pronouns are not listed in t his thesis. Study on grammar, national culture between the two countries, the national political, social customs and other aspects of influences on language are not concluded.
