Preliminary Aesthetic Studies On Buddhism Furniture In Paintings Of The Song Dynasty

Culture and Arts in the Song Dynasty is a peak in the Chinese traditional culture. It was also in this period, Chinese from traditional ground kneeling to pedal while sitting,furniture is closely related to change of living style. The introduction of Buddhism into China and brought Buddhism furniture can be said to lead a revolution in the field of furniture. This paper choose Buddhism furniture as the focus of the study in the most typical furniture. However, the Song Dynasty furniture rarely exist, related research of furniture of the Ming and Qing Dynasties is less and less. Fortunately, the Song Dynasty Buddhism got certain development, leaving a large number of outstanding Buddhist paintings. At the same time, the Song Dynasty "Gewuzhizhi" spirit, "qiyizaidao" attitude, which was artifacts more spiritual and cultural value.The specific implementation in painting, drawing shapes are seeking for the truth and reason. This provides theoretical reference is reliable for our study of Buddhism furniture of song dynasty.This paper attempts to Buddhism in Song Dynasty furniture into the Song Dynasty painting in aesthetic context of the creation, reduction of concept, through the appreciation of Song Dynasty painting of Buddhism furniture, launches the research from the theory, modeling, material three aspects, trying to explore the traditional beauty along the inner rail which is found from the traditional to the path of innovation.
