The XuanhehHapu Textual Criticism And Commetaries

The Xusnhe Huapu written in Northern Song Dynasty is one of the most important documents of Chinese art history in existence today, providing an abundant resource for SongHuizong’s collection of famous paintings. However, due to the complex process of its transmission, combined with anomlies that arose during its transcription and reprinting, differences between the text may easy to cause of the ambiguity of the original. Although extant versions of the text have been subject to the emendation of our prdecessors they remain nonetheless imperfect, often neglecting certain key details available in other importat editions. So around the text’s related research, Need to do more in-depth discussion today.This artical constitutes a foundational research and re-collation of Xusnhe Huapu. Its contents being divided as follows:firstly, an emendation of the text;secondly, a study of related inquiries. In the first section, peper based on the period of Yuandade Xusnhe Huapu as dibon, Ming and qing Ming edition of commentaries and codex for school-based. The peper collat again and add punctuation. In the second section, firstly, this peper try to list Past researches of Xusnhe Huapu; secondly, try to check the problem in version of Xusnhe Huapu;finally, from aspects of the stylistic rules and layout and description to express the inheritance and value of Xusnhe Huapu. In this way, it is hoped the present dissertation can progress on the basis of our predecessors’scholarly achievements.
