A Reseach For The Stylistic Rules Of Gu-jin-yun-hui-ju-yao

Gu-jin-yun-hui-ju-yao(《古今韵会举要》)is a book of Yuan Dynasty,it is not only based on previous rhyming dictionary,but also has its own unique style.This article based on the previous research,under the guidance of principles in the fields of Dictionary Academic theories,the Chinese graphology,the Critical Interpretation of Ancient texts and the Phonology,and with the methods of comparing,tabulation,induction and literature research,made a summary of the over-all compiling style.This thesis is divided into five chapters to elaborate the stylistic rules of Gu-jin-yun-hui-ju-yao(《古今韵会举要》).The first chapter is Introduction,to begin with,this part made a overview of Ju-yao(《举要》),including the author and the completion of the book,the spreading and version.Then,we put forward the significance of this topic、the methods of research and the frame structure.The second chapter is the style of collection words. General rules of collection words、detailed rules of collection words and stylistic rules of variants are explained mainly.The third chapter,i.e.the stylistic rules of phonetic transcription,respectively introduced that:the stylistic rules of Niu-yin(纽音),which include the sources of pronunciation of Niu-yin(纽音)and its phonetic transcription in stylistics;the stylistic rules of You-yin(又音),which include the same rhymed You-yin(又音)and the different rhymed You-yin(又音);the source of pronunciation,in which a thorough textual research is made;in the end,other stylistic rules are summarized along with Fan-li(凡例).The fourth chapter is the stylistic rules of interpretation, which mainly explained sources、cited examples and dialectics of interpretation. Among them, sources of interpretation have cited examples, cited sentences and the combination of the two; dialectics of interpretation means the correction of interpretation that were made to previous rhyming dictionary.The fifth chapter made a summary of this article.In the mean while,it pointed out the accomplishment and weakness of Ju-yao(《举要》)by comparing with Fan-li(《凡例》)。In this paper,the complete stylistic rules of Ju-yao(《举要》)is summarized with the research of the stylistic rules of Ju-yao(《举要》).We also located its mistakes and weaknesses by comparing with Fan-li(凡例).The research of this article will offer an insight for the research of dictionary history and the compiling of contemporary dictionary.
