China started Confucius Institute and Confucius classrooms since November 2004, " Confucius Institute in Seoul" is the first Confucius Institute of the world which was established in Korea, and 20 more Confucius Institutes were established successively in Korea by now. In the context of the popularity of Chinese across the world, in order to better promote Chinese civilization, showing the world China’s image, providing conditions for learning Chinese, which builds a strong platform for the dissemination and promotion of Chinese. Just because of this, the teaching characteristic and teaching mode of these Confucius Institutes are particularly worthy of our attention and research.As a volunteer of Chinese teacher, the author conducted one year of teaching in Confucius Institute at Dae Jin University from February 2014 to February 2015. After one year of work experience, with the help of convenient conditions of Korea, respectively carried out a survey and information’s collection of the Chinese teachers and students in 7 Confucius Institutions which are Confucius Institute at Dae Jin University, Confucius Institute at Andong National University, Confucius Institute at Soon Chun Hyang University, Confucius Institute at the University of Inchon in South Korea, Confucius Institute at Woosong University, Confucius Institute at Sehan University, Confucius Institute at Kangwon National University, using methods of literature, questionnaire, interview and observation, analyzing the current situation of oral teaching of Confucius Institutes. And then it starts from four aspects of students, teachers, teaching methods and teaching materials, summarizing the characteristics of Confucius Institutions in Korea, proposing the problems existing in the oral teaching as well as exploring possible measures for improvement.This paper is mainly divided into four chapters. Chapter I is introduction, which mainly introduces reasons and significance of this research, arranges the present situation of oral Chinese teaching of Korean students, as well as summarizing the characteristics of Confucius Institutes from four aspects of students, teachers, teaching methods and teaching materials. Chapter II describes the survey, design process and content of oral Chinese teaching in Korea Confucius Institutes, including investigation purpose, research significance, research scope, such as investigation object, research method, research difficulties. Chapter III is the survey results and analysis of the classroom teaching of oral Chinese in Korea Confucius, using forms of chart, pie chart and bar chart to present the survey data more intuitive. Party IV sums up the former surveys and conclusions, summarizes the existing problems of oral Chinese teaching in Korea Confucius Institutes according to the survey, proposing suggestions for teaching from the aspect of personalized teaching, the scientific test method, stable teachers, arouse the enthusiasm of students and improve the teaching facilities, etc...
