Vocabulary is important and difficult foreign teaching Chinese idioms vocabulary acquisition is the difficulty of teaching, especially in the senior phase of learning of students entering post. Chinese vocabulary idiom is the best part is that the Chinese language, a "living fossil." Animal idioms as an important part of idioms, reflects the cognitive thinking characteristic of the Han nationality. In recent years, domestic and foreign researchers from different perspectives on teaching Chinese foreign idioms teaching were studied. Metaphor research perspective is one of them. Metaphor is common to mankind a unique understanding of the way. In the long years of common life, it was found that the physical characteristics of certain animals, certain quality of lifestyle habits and physiology of human existence and similarities in language level through generalization, they formed an animal metaphor. Due to differences in culture and ways of thinking, different ethnic groups for the feelings of the same species in different colors. However, from the current research situation, the study of animals and animal metaphors are mostly limited to the translation of idioms and cultural comparison of Chinese and foreign animal idioms, metaphors and for the animals used in the Teaching of Chinese Idioms almost untouched. Therefore, the author of previous research results and practical investigations put forward their own research ideas.In this paper, a total of five chapters. The first chapter is an introduction, discusses the research origin, research value, current research, study and research methods.The second chapter is the impact on animal metaphors idioms semantics. Is the theoretical part of this paper. This chapter is divided into five sections, namely the conceptual metaphor theory, the formation mechanism of animal metaphors, Gert force "Man is an animal" proposition metaphor, metaphor cognitive mechanisms and animal metaphors mechanism idiom idioms impact on semantics. Discusses the concept of metaphor, metaphor theory affect animals and animal metaphors to idioms. Discusses the conceptual metaphor theory in the study of the type of metaphor, which belong to the body of the animal metaphor metaphors. In the study of metaphor in cognitive mechanism idiom, metaphor cognitive mechanisms are discussed in detail to provide a theoretical basis for the idioms presented later teaching strategies.
