The author tries to deeply explore the reasons from such three aspects as the advancement of the classic works of art, the power of art criticism standard, the mobility of audience aesthetic expectation. Through the analysis of classic cases, firstly, one can explore the universal law of art acceptance. Whether art acceptance takes on the delayed or immediate side is restricted by both objective and subjective factors. In the development of the arts, the phenomenon of delaying art acceptance has certain inevitability, while the phenomenon of immediate acceptance of arts is relatively accidental. Yet in the reflection on Chinese contemporary art acceptance status, art acceptance growing to immediate appearance is at the cost of art ontology. Secondly, one can get a deep insight into the nature of arts. That art creation must be based on the art ontology shall be clearly understood. Thus, the author appeals to contemporary artists to give up demanding immediate benefits of art acceptance.
