In recent years, globalization has been regarded as one of the most important driving forces for economic growth and social development. But when globalization brings positive effects to the whole world, the negative effects can’t be avoided. For example, the negative impacts of globalization on employment and wages in developing countries have aroused too much concern. China, Brazil, India and other developing countries have serious problems of unemployment and income inequality. The report World of Work Report 2014 Developing with Jobs, taking developing countries as examples, mainly discusses the issues of employment and unemployment, as well as the appropriate measures. The original text of this translation project is from International Labour Organization official website, and the original text World of Work Report 2014 Developing with Jobs was written and released by International Labour Organization.
