In Japanese modern history, there was a group of students from Korea who came to Japan with vigor and humiliation, to revive their motherland and made unremitting efforts. They were both the products of the old era and the founder of the new era.Whether in the cultural history or political history, their deeds made great contribution.Through the study, which can reproduce the history of Korean students, and you can clearly see the situation in economic, political, cultural, social status of the students.In this paper, the main research is about Korean students who were studying in Japanese schools in Taisho period(1912-1926). To be specific, before Japanese colonial domination, it narrates early, middle and higher education status in colonial Korea, to clarify the historical background and realistic reasons why they came to Japan since the founding of Korea. Then, this paper gives a description and analysis of the changed policy and students’ inhibitory activity in Taisho period, pointing out the underlying factors: the empire of Japan’s national interest. Furthermore, from the official statistics, the Korean magazines, Japanese history of institutions of higher learning and other related information to show the tense of Taisho period in Japan.Mainly divided into the annual change and students at public expense, origin of foreign students, international students enrolled in professional schools, etc. Also, it gives a brief introduction of students’ organizations and activities of the Korean students’ revolutionary movement. This paper covers almost all the major revolution activities of Korean students in Taisho period, providing more comprehensive information to understand the Taisho period.In conclusion, this article summarizes the Korean students’ characteristics,historical role and social influence in Taisho period.
