| To construct the harmonious unity of national relationship is an important social goals of multi-ethnic country, ethnic identity and national relationship is also important issues concerned by the researchers at home and abroad. In order to promote the development of various nationalities in China that set up the national colleges and universities to foster minority talents, at the same time in ordinary colleges and universities to cultivate. The relatively independent system of national education may affect undergraduates’ ethnic identity and ethnic attitudes. Therefore, it is great important to compare the ethnic identity of ethnic nationalities universities and colleges and non-ethnic universities and colleges undergraduates for establish a harmonious and stable national relations. In addition, ethnic policies is the important aspect of national identity, this study will investigated the college students’ attitude towards relevant national education policy.Social identity theory and identity development theory as the theoretical basis of this study raised the question to be studied. Through three researches examines the national colleges and universities and non-ethnic universities and colleges undergraduates’ ethnic identity, national identity, stereotypes, Inter-ethnic attitudes variables. This paper analyzed the characteristics of these variables on the demographic, discussed the ethnic identity in the role of r inter-ethnic relations; and surveyed undergraduates on the MinZuBan, national colleges and universities, the attitude of the national higher education policy, as well as the existing problems.Study 1 the selection of national colleges and universities and the non-national colleges and universities 666 Han and minority undergraduates as subjects, using questionnaires investigation method, comparison of national colleges and universities and the national college undergraduates in ethnic identity, national identity, stereotypes, and Inter-ethnic attitudes that to explore their relationship. The results show that:(1)By comparing the national colleges and universities and the non-national colleges and universities undergraduates, found in different types of colleges and universities between Han and minority undergraduates of ethnic identity, national identity, stereotypes, peoples attitude score are not significantly different;(2)The proportion of the Han and ethnic undergraduates will not affect the stereotypes and outgroup attitudes;(3)Ethnic identity plays an important role in inter-ethnic interaction.Study 2 interviewed 30 people of Han and minority, the purpose is to understand undergraduates for MinZuBan, national colleges and universities and national preferential policies, found the advantages and disadvantages. Interview results showed :(1) Undergraduates on the MinZuBan, national colleges and universities, national policies have different attitude, favor, there are objections.(2)Set up MinZuBan can make the minority students have more education opportunities, and can be aimed at weak foundation according to their aptitude, is conducive to national unity; But at the same time also is considered to be low, the feeling of being discriminated against, ethnic and Han increasingly alienated, teacher will be discriminatory, and lead to students lack of competitiveness in some degree, professional choice is limited;(3)National colleges and universities can facilitate the minority students’ study life, preserve and carry forward the minority culture; Reflect national attention to national education career, promoting national unity, but vulnerable to discrimination in employment, and to strengthen the minority students of ethnic identity, between different inter-ethnic cliques so serious, is not conducive to ethnic minorities and Han nationality exchanges, the Han nationality students vulnerable to unfair treatment;(4) National preferential policies reflect the country’s emphasis on ethnic minorities, training minority talents, promote the common development of various nationalities, to safeguard national unity and stability. Problems are ignored the reaction of the Han ethnic minorities preferential policies, the unreasonable distribution of preferential policies, identity has become the most important "social capital" to further strengthen the ethnic identity, reduces the ethnic students’ learning enthusiasm and self-confidence.Study 3 with 979 college students as subjects, using a questionnaire method, on the basis of the results of study2, investigated the minorities and Han nationality undergraduates’ attitude towards national preferential policies. The results showed that:(1)The undergraduates in general more support the current preferential policy in the national education;(2)The Han and ethnic nationality undergraduates show different attitudes about the pros and cons of Min ZuBan, national colleges and universities, national preferential policies.Based on the results of the three research data analysis and discussion, In this paper, following this conclusions:(1) The national colleges and universities and the non-national university students there is no difference on ethnic identity and national identity;(2)The national colleges and universities and the non-national university students there is no difference on stereotypes and Inter-ethnic attitudes;(3)Ethnic identity plays an important role in inter-ethnic interaction;(4) For Min Zu Ban, national colleges and universities,national preferential policies of higher education to hold a positive attitude to support, but also pay attention to overcome its disadvantages. |
