A Study On Marx’s Views For Religion

Nowadays, religion is more complicated. China is a country of socialist ideology. How to make religion corresponds to the mainstream thought is an important problem to solve right now. Marx is a great philosopher; his critique of religion is not a simple abandonment but a process of solution. Although theory of religion in his entire system is out of proportion, it provides a positive and effective guide to deal with domestic religious problems. This paper employs Marx’s critique of religion as a stand point to make it runs through his thought of development. And it has a systematical research and an overall grasp for his religious criticism.This paper is divided into four chapters. The first chapter mainly discusses Marx’s religion, the theoretical source and social background. Marx stands on the shoulders of giants to sort out their thoughts in order to create his own view. The second chapter is to clarify some outer problems of religion which covers the religious meaning and classification, concept of Marx’s ideology, this paper defined about religion and expounds what Feuerbach said, "Man created religion, religion did not create man" The third chapter explained the basic contents of Marx’s religious view, including the development of his religion, Marx’s theory of "opium" thought”, Marx’s criticism of the Christian, and religion is a process of history by similarities of Marx’s critique of religion, historical materialism and the traditional ontology. The final one analyzes the main problem of our country and with this basis it proposes that “manage according to the law “ is the ultimate approach to solve religious problems. Marx’s religious view is a guidance to tackle the religious problem in our country. We believe that the study of Marx’s religious view, his criticism can provide us a brand new hint, theoretical horizon and ways of thinking to understand the Marxism.
