“Dialectical materialism and historical materialism”,edited by Ai Siqi,is the first philosophy textbook independently compiled in New China.It ends the history of using Soviet textbooks in Chinese philosophy education,and makes important contributions to the development of Marxist Philosophy and the establishment of scientific Marxist philosophy in China and the party.As the source of our country’s independent development of Marxist philosophy education,the process and experience of compiling this textbook is worth studying.The main structure is divided into five chapters.The first chapter analyzes the purpose and significance of the subject,the research status,research content,methods and innovation of the textbook at home and abroad.The second chapter mainly discusses the process of the book,and the third chapter mainly analyzes the connection and difference with Soviet textbooks from three aspects:philosophy,logical structure and language style.Chapter four and five are the research focus of this topic.Chapter four mainly discusses the use effect and historical status of the first philosophy textbook in New China.Firstly,it analyzes the theoretical effect of the textbook,mainly including: it lays the foundation of the textbook system of Marxist Philosophy in China,reflects the theoretical contribution of Mao Zedong’s philosophical thought to Marxist philosophy,and develops the basic principles of Marxism;secondly,it analyzes the social effect of the textbook,mainly including: the gradual formation of Marxist style of study,and opening up the public space.Finally,it analyzes the historical status of the textbook from two aspects:the basic paradigm of the textbook and the theoretical system of philosophy education.The fifth chapter analyzes the experience of compiling the textbook.First of all,adhere to the basic principles and basic stand of Marxist philosophy.Secondly,the development of Marxist philosophy should be combined with the reality of China and the characteristics of the times.Finally,clarify the purpose and essence of Marxist philosophy education.
