The core of this thesis is the new development of film art. It is the concept of some " typical and representative feature", in recent years, that shown in a noumber of symbolic significance films is a concrete manifestation of these new developments in the film art. They include:linear/nonlinear; continuous/discontinuous; the inevitable uncertainty/randomness accidental;unidirectional/interactive; flashback/flash and multi-dimensional viewpoint and so on.Original meaning or innovation of this paper is to emphasize the new development "typical characteristics", it is a century "scientific revolution" characteristic. The contemporary academic circles generally recognized, it is these "scientific revolution" feature or achievements,impact and ultimately determines the mainstream world of our time outlook and epistemology.Therefore, the introduction of natural science research in the study of film art, is to conduct research into the great background of these "typical concept and representative feature" on new ideas and new concepts, on behalf of the modern scientific research achievements,in in order to those new concepts of natural science gives scientific explanation at the same time,but also a new development and logo to the cinematic art characteristic, gives a scientific explanation and epistemological significance.The main of the subject of this paper is hoped that the way that links the film art research with modern scientific research, especially in view of the epistemology,may develope an scientific approach to explore a film art research. Perhaps the superficial, but not necessarily a meaningful exploration and trial study.
