The famous American filmmaker DavidBovell praised,"Nobody could be more perfect than he." The German famous director WimWenders also showed the respect to Ozu,"I admire him, who is the most holy and religious inthe film history".After Ozu pass away, the research on Ozu’s films was raised first in Europe Nineteenseventies, then spread to the United States, and then in Japan with the Japanese scholars joinedself-consciously. Eventually Japan became the center of this research. Chinese scholars began toinvolve in Ozu film research in nineteen nineties, since then "Ozu films" has been the academicfocus.
