After the twentieth Century human’s industrial civilization and the civilization of science and technology that all over the world, people’s desire for material becomes inflated than any other time and it’s facing the ecological crisis. The Soviet Union on a large scale of socialist economic construction especially into the 1930 s.The country’s demand for wood is also increasing. And this is also an opportunities for that greedy peoples. They regard the forest as a tool to make money, which far exceeded the carrying capacity of forest. The famous Russian thinker where Leonov’s "the Russian forest" that is the essence of his ideology. This work involves a lot of subject.It is an encyclopedia of Russian’s life in the twentieth Century. He tried to alert the people through his own work to recognize the dangerous of the current situation, so as to adjusting the way of development, especially to adjusting their own moral consciousness.This article from three parts mainly researching the ecological consciousness of "the Russian forest".The first part from the three aspects to mainly analyze the causes of ecological consciousness that Leonov’s living environment and his white birch complex in his works and from the long history of forest ecology; In the second part the writer reflect the ecological consciousness in the works through the attitude of main characters of the novel to the Russian forest, that to reflect the deep connotation about Russian national spirit by Russian forest.The third part the Russian forest through the "forest battle" of novel to reflect the deep connotation as a moral yardstick,which reflects the human moral decay by development of the nuclear industry,the consciousness tragedy of unique Soviet literature full embody now.
