Rao Mengkan is one of the most active and the most important poet of early crescent. Although the creation time is only about five years, but creation across multiple field of poetry, poetics, poetry translation, essays and novels etc. Rao Mengkan’s poem is not much, but many products. Xu Zhimo decided that he used verses skillfully. Wen Yiduo praised his poetry was "miracle". In the theory of consciousness Poetics Construction, Rao Mengkan focused on the reconstruction of poetry new versification and form. He wrote "The syllables of modern poems"," On the poetry of the syllable"," Sentimentalism and’Creation society’" to discuss the syllable problem of new poetry systematically. He put forward a very constructive syllable theory, which is a pioneering work to the construction of modern metrical poetry. Rao Mengkan believed that "poetry is not divided into Chinese and foreign". China poetry should absorb the beneficial components of foreign poetry syllable. He wrote "The new poetry translation" to discuss the problems of translation of western poetry, creatively borrowed western poetry metrical phonology. This can be the close connection between Rao Mengkan’s translation activities and discussion of new metrical poetry. Besides, His essays and novels also have poetic color.At present. Researchers on Rao mengkan are mainly in two aspects. One is the analysis of single or multiple pieces of poetry text, but no overall study on his poetry creation. The other one is the research on Rao mengkan’s poetics idea. It has not formed the system theory and the contribution can’t be ignored. But there’s no explain the contact between poetics, poem and poetry translation. And his poetry translation, essays and novels are few researchers mentioned. The research results have emerged relatively single. Therefore, this paper takes Rao mengkan as a poet as the breakthrough point, tries to explore his poetry creation, the metrical theory of new poetry, poetry translation, essays and novels, to re understanding of the "People most sell strength" (Xu Zhimo)poet.What is the style of Rao mengkan’s poems? What is the poetics prop up this poem shape? What is the relationship between Rao Mengkan’s poetry translation and his poetry creation? What kind of poetic color is it in Rao mengkan’s essays and novels? Based on these issues, in addition to the introduction and conclusion, the article is divided four parts:The first part investigates Rao Mengkan’s poetry characteristic. This part investigates Rao Mengkan’s poem synchronically, mainly from three aspects of language, imagery, rhythm. Through sorting out the artistic features of Rao mengkan’s poem, the author thinks that the most prominent feature of Rao Mengkan’s poem is "light" and "clear". "Light" is the way to reflect realistic, performanced in the text of narrative mode of light. "Clear" is the style light. The combination of the two is the charm of Rao Mengkan’s Poem. The text meaning of "light" and "Clear" is beyond the survival of "heavy" and "muddy". The two jointly promote Rao Mengkan’s poetry creation and production of significanceThe second part focuses on the exploration into MengKan’s poetics. In this part, from the perspective of the unity of content and form, discusses Rao Mengkan’s new poetry insights. Rao Mengkan’s poetics:a poem must contain the meaning and sound, and they are a whole good harmonic; Emotion is the prerequisite problem in the poem; Syllable is the most important poem composition. In my view, this is the pursuit of the perfect combination of poetry endosarc and form, thus summarized as "matter" and "form" synchronous structure of poetics. "Meaning" is the poetry content. Emotion is the foundation of this content. "Sound" is the poetry form and it is composed of syllables deployment. Rao Mengkan emphasized the unity of content and form is the effective adjustment to prime stagnation in the vernacular poetry and the form trapped by tradition.The third part explains Rao mengkan’s poetry translation. The author takes the forms of Rao mengkan’s poetry translation as the perspective, put Rao mengkan’s poetry translation in the cultural context, and then mainly discuss why Rao mengkan translates the poetry, which poetry he translates; in the process of translating poetry, which translation norms he follows and how to do the choice of translation norms existing, what is the internal connection between Rao mengkan’s poetry creation and exploration of modern metrical poetry.The fourth part analyzes the other style of Rao mengkan’s creation, such as the poetic color in the essays and novels, to complete the Poet Rao Mengkan. Rao Mengkan’s essays are passion straightforward, delightful, interlinked music, then have a music rhythm; his novels pursuit the spirit of the subtle mood and harmonious. So all seem very calm and present the aesthetic features of plain and harmonious.
