Civil Morality Of Kindness Virtue And Cultivation In The Contemporary China

In the construction of the kindness virtue’s political needs------building socialist core values;social needs------helping each other, especially the people in poor and trouble;personal needs------developing the noble and sincere personality,with the study of the socialist core values,virtue ethics,citizen moral construction and cultivation as the platform,this article absorbs the fundamental key with Chinese and western traditional ethics thought to comprehensive analysis the kindness virtue and its cultivation,considering the adaption of the contemporary Chinese educational social reality.The article mainly divides into four chapters, respectively, stating the kindness virtue, analyzing the present moral situation and putting forward of the cultivation path of the kindness virtue:Chapter one analyzes the feasibility and necessity of the construction of socialist core values of kindness virtue and introduce the study methods.Chapter two analyzes the Chinese and western traditional ethics thought.Through the analysis of two Chinese traditional virtue ethics, combing the Western traditional civil virtue ethics,the chapter extracts the essence of traditional ideas and puts forward the connotation of the kindness virtue,to ensure its rationality and practicability.Kindness virtue’s connotations, characteristics and values are intrinsically connected.People’s kindness with other person bases on respect, dedication, and mutual assistance.And kindness finally helps individual,others and society to a triple dimensions of ascension.Chapter three analyzes the contemporary Chinese citizens moral situation------relationship materialized, emotional alienation between people, individualism prevailing, lacking of civic consciousness.Also the chapter analyzes its reason------the unrealistic moral education, the negative consensus environment, and the weak citizen morality consciousness.Chapter four analyzes that kindness virtue cultivation should be guided with the public spirit to enhance citizen’s public participation and the sense of social responsibility, the power and the obligation of legal norms to ensure the system environment of kindness,the construction of consensus to push forward the unity of moral heteronomy and self-discipline, the traditional individual moral cultivation path to shape noble moral sentiment and personality.
