Sino-Kharosthi coins,which are Chinese and Kharosthi two inscriptions on coins, there Kharosthi side usually decorated with a horse or a camel pattern. Accordingly, Chinese scholars said such coins as " Hotan Horse coins." In 1962, Xia Nai coins according to the characteristics of two characters simultaneously, to academia naming convention called " Sino-Kharosthi coins."Sino-Kharosthi coin is a self Hotan Ancient coins. Since the first was discovered in 1874 onwards, which brings together Eastern and Western cultural characteristics of coins, became the object of research scholars from various countries are racing. However, due to the lack of relevant information and convincing evidence, to date, the coin’s origin and circulation problems inconclusive.This thesis is divided into four parts. The first part introduces the Sino-Kharosthi coins unearthed in Xinjiang situation; the second part of the more than a century, the Western academic study of Sino-Kharosthi coins have been described; third part typology and chronology based and with related research in other disciplines, synthesizes the recent academic research for Sino-Kharosthi coins; part four lists the Sino-Kharosthi coins contemporary Central Asian coins, the Han dynasty coins, and statistics for the period Hotan Prefecture coins unearthed. Finally, money proved the West was extensive exchanges.
