| The understanding and using of synonyms is always the important and difficult points in learning Chinese. In recent years, there are many studies about synonyms from the perspective of error analysis. In the study of synonym discrimination, most previous studies just compared “xiang†and “yaoâ€, “yiwei†and “renwei†separately as the two groups of synonyms are irrelevant. Through our error investigation, we can find that: the error rate of “xiangâ€, “yiweiâ€, “renwei†is high, and the errors are mainly concentrated on the confusion of the three words. It is not a one-to-one confusion, but a cross confusion with a significant directivity. In order to reduce the learners’ error rate, it is necessary for us to make a comparative analysis of the three words together. According to the differences and errors we got, specific teaching strategies are proposed.Based on the findings of previous studies, this paper compares the syntactic and semantic differences among predictive verbs “xiangâ€, “yiweiâ€, “renweiâ€. Then by using the method of error analysis, this paper analyzes the corpus collected from the HSK dynamic composition corpus, describes language facts of errors, and makes a summary of error types and the causes of errors. Finally, based on the syntactic and semantic differences and error points summarized before, this paper targeted to provides effective teaching strategies of “xiangâ€, “yiweiâ€, “renwei†in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. The paper is composed of five chapters. The first chapter is exordium. It clarifies the reason and significance of the paper, domestic research status. And then it explains the research theory, method and the source of corpus which are expected to be used in this paper. The second chapter is a syntactic and semantic comparison among predictive verbs “xiangâ€, “yiweiâ€, “renwei†in four aspects. Through analyzes the relevant corpus from the HSK dynamic composition corpus of the Beijing Language and Culture University, the third chapter classifies the types of errors and explores the possible causes of errors. Based on the research results, the fourth chapter puts forward relevant teaching strategies in three aspects:textbooks, reference books and classroom instruction. The fifth chapter is a main points summary of this paper, as well as it explains the innovation and the deficiency of this paper, and puts forward some problems which are still need to be explored in the future. |
