Investigation On The Development Status Of Rural Culture In Zhuanghe City Lizifang Township

In recent years, the rapidly developing global economy and the expanding popularity of internet media has lead to an increase in interaction between a variety of countries and regions. Societies with different cultures, values, and norms are colliding and confluencing. Subsequently, rural culture research is receiving greater focus. As the agents of rural culture, farmers directly decide the success or failure in the making of the new rural China through their willing attitude and participation. Excellent public cultural facilities and diverse entertainment culture represent the uniqueness of the local rural culture. They safeguard the enriched intellectual culture and improve the farmers’ participation in building new rural communities that are beneficial to the development of the rural economy and the stabilization of society. In the case of the town of Lizifang in Zhuanghe City, the prosperity of rural culture is a major support in improving and innovating the social administration.Firstly, this thesis aims to discuss the relevant theories and state of development of rural culture both domestic and international. Then by organizing and analyzing data collected using surveying methods such as questionnaires, this thesis explores the current stable development of the Lizifang economy, the important cultural developments lead by the local government, the improvements of standard facilities, and the rapid creation of a talented workforce. Conversely, this thesis will also explore relevant issues such as inadequate funding for public infracture construction, the lack of cultural entertainment spaces, insufficient ideological realization from the farmers, and the low-levels of income. Naturally, the culture development of Lizifang town is still constrained by objective factors such as local customs, clan power dynamic, etc. Lastly, by exploring Lizifang town’s currently state of development, this thesis will suggest ways to improve the development of local rural culture. For example, by increasing the importance of cultural development projects, improving the creation of talented individuals, elevating the overall integrity of farmers, and promoting the creation and innovation of rural culture.
