Yuan Qu Xuan is an important spoken documentation in Yuan Dynasty and Ming Dynasty, Its Spoken Parts can truly reflect the oral appearance. Based on the spoken Parts of Yuan Qu Xuan, this paper makes the exhaustive statistics and description of exclamatory sentences in the Spoken Parts of Yuan Qu Xuan, as well as analyzes the different usage of marking interjections, marking adverbs, marking modal words and marking sentence patterns detailedly. The characteristics of exclamatory sentences in the Spoken Parts of Yuan Qu Xuan can be summarized when these markings compared with the ones in the exclamatory sentences of Middle Ancient Chinese, "Zu Tang Ji" in the Five Dynasties, "Dream of Red Mansions" in the Qing Dynasty and the modern Chinese language. This paper also reveals its connecting role in the development process of the Chinese exclamatory sentences.The paper is divided into six chapters. The first chapter not only summarizes the research status of exclamatory sentences in the Spoken Parts of Yuan Qu Xuan, but expounds the topic’s origin, research significance and research methods. Based on the results of previous research and language features of Yuan Qu Xuan, exclamatory sentences in the Spoken Parts of Yuan Qu Xuan can be defined and classified and the study objects can be established. The second chapter discusses exclamatory sentences marking with interjections in the Spoken Parts of Yuan QU Xuan. The Marking Interjections could be used as an independent sentence in the first segment. The Interjections of "Duo(')’,"Jie Hu(嗟乎)’,"Wu Hu(呜呼)’come from ancient Chinese language. "Hai(嗨)”,’O(哦)","Pei(呸)”,"Yi(')”,"Ai Ya((哎呀)’ are used in the modern Chinese language. The third chapter discusses exclamatory sentences marking with adverbs in the Spoken Parts of Yuan QU Xuan. Marking adverbs "Hao(好)”and "Hao Sheng(好生)”appear frequently, whose usages are also flexible. The adverbs of "Shen(甚)”,"Shi(实)”,"Zhen(真)”come from ancient Chinese language. "Hao(好)”,"Zhen(真)”are used in the modern Chinese language. The fourth chapter discusses exclamatory sentences marking with modal words in the Spoken Parts of Yuan Qu Xuan. "Ye((也)”appears the most frequently in all marking modal words. Middle Ancient Chinese and neoteric Chinese language produced new modal words such as "He(呵)”,’ Na(那)”,"A(阿)”,’Li(哩)", "Luo(罗)”,"Yo(嚛)’, "Ya(呀)’, "Zan (')”,"Ye He(也呵)”,"Ye Luo(也罗)”,"Ye Na(也那)”,and "Luo(罗)’, "Yo(嚛)”,"Zan(')”are unique modal words in the neoteric Chinese language. The fifth chapter discusses exclamatory sentences marking with sentence patterns in the Spoken Parts of Yuan Qu Xuan. Marking sentence patterns of "V/A Sha(杀)”or "V/A Si(死)”has the largest number of occurrences. Other sentence patterns including in "V/A Sha(杀)”or "V/A Si(死)”are not being inherited except "V/A Sha(杀)O" or "V/A Si(死)O", which are used in "Dream of Red Mansions" and modern Chinese language. The sixth chapter combines with the research content of the second chapter to the fifth chapter, and summaries that the exclamatory sentences in the Spoken Parts of Yuan Qu Xuan play an important role in the development process, is an important stage in the development of Chinese exclamatory sentences.
