| Biejia (别驾) was leader of the state office in the Han and Wei Dynasty, only blew to the provincial governor. However, its powers and status changed greatly in the Northern Dynasty. During the Northern Dynasty State office’s power was weakened, Biejia assumed the maximum pressure.There is a three-part introduction of Biejia in this paper. The first chapter, take an overview of Biejia’evolution, including its official ranks, birth, migration, official position, national background and social composition. In the Han Dynasty, Biejia was a minor official, as deputy provincial governor, the provincial governor of their status as rising powers and status rose. In the Jin Dynasty, its mandate has been greatly improved,for a state of civil affairs and had a great talent elected participation.In the the Northern Dynasties Biejia was held by Han Chinese nobles, of course, there were some Xianbei (鲜å‘), the Huns (匈 奴) and other ethnic people holding this position.Gyeonggi region due to its special status, the power of Biejia was particularly large, was not common states comparable.In the second chapter, this paper compares the official system of North Wei Dynasty and Han Dynasty, concluding the difference of the two epochs.
