| Many Japanese learners are confused in some situations which don’t conform to the rule of "past-not past", and is considered to be the tone semantics of the verb "Ta", Due to the classical Japanese grammar, I’m aware of he history of "Ta", and began to explore the use of the tone of "Ta"。 The paper is on the basis of predecessors’ research results, with the help of the time axis and predicate types,defined two concepts "a process of acquaintance " and "a potential range" to analyze the tone at the end of the sentence semantic "ta", and to find out the common using conditions of "ta".The Introduction part introduces the problem consciousness, the results of previous studies, this paper stand.The first chapter is in order to find out the causes of "Ta" which has many meanings, from the view of ancient Japanese grammar。The second chapter introduces what are " a process of acquaintance" and " a potential range". The former is formed by three parts of definition, matters needing attention and the comparison results. The latter is formed by three parts of definition, verb type, the relationship between speech and action occurs.The third chapter is formed by the perspective of the " a process of acquaintance ", static predicate are often used in "a ru","i ru" and "non+da" form. They always mean "found" and "remember".The forth chapter is formed by the perspective of the " a potential range ",mostly dynamic predicate will be used,thus the dynamic predicate is further divided into three categories:the subject action verbs of atelic verbs, the subject action and object changing verbs of telic verbs and the subject changing verbs of telic verbs. According to the classification of verbs, the subject action verbs of atelic verbs and the subject action and object changing verbs of telic verbs can express "past", the subject action and object changing verbs of telic verbs and the subject changing verbs of telic verbs can express "state", the subject changing verbs of telic verbs can express "assurance",and at last the will verbs of dynamic verbs can express "command". The conclusion part is the summary of this article, and made a summary, and the unexplained "supposed ta" as the subject of further study. |
