The Study Of Translation Of The Tv Series 《 Anarhan 》 From Uyghur To Chinese

Along with the communication between different ethnic groups becoming deeper constantly, the film and television programs, which as a bridge and link of communication between two ethnic cultures, achieving mutual transmission and sharing of different cultures. Taking the famous American linguist and translation theorist Eugene Nida’s functional equivalence theory as the guidance, the TV series <Anarhan> Uyghur script and Chinese dubbing script as the research material, this thesis discusses the translation strategies by the translator in the translation of the play. The article draws a conclusion that: in the translation of the play, the translator using domestication, reduction type, colloquial, increasing translation strategies to achieve functional equivalence of content and style so that it can better express the content of the film and television, and the Chinese audience can achieve the same watching experience as the Uyghur language audience.
