As it lies in the turn of the yellow river, it used to have bad traffic and poor harvest. People there were suffering from all these and they got used to the life style of leaving in spring and being back in winter. They went to Daqing Mountain of Inner Mongolia as well as Hetao area for a short or long period of work, and this kind of life was called “Zou Xikouâ€.Since 2006, folk songs were listed as the non-material cultural relics, and people began to put great attachment on them and try to save them. However, the result was not so good.As an important part of Shanxi Province outstanding historical culture, has the very high historical research value. But with the rapid development of social economy, people’s aesthetic concept transformation, meander in endangered position of folk songs. Based on the field survey as a method, in line with “record also is a kind of cultural protection†principle’to meander folk songs recorded and analyzed.Under the shock of globalization of world economy, culture, values and life styles, Hequ culture and traditions are affected deeply and folk songs nearly get to die. From that time a perfect system of protecting and spreading the folk songs were established. Folk songs are the base of music and culture, I think it is necessary to form a systematic machine to protect and spread them. As the change of people’s working, life and study, the contents of music has also changed. Under this kind of circumstance, the author tries to research the present spreading of folk songs and tries to analyze the reasons of the change as well as the strategies to solve these problems.Because the music activities are an individual or group in a certain social form,any music performance and creation and its local social environment, natural environment and human conditions is intimately involved.
