Interpersonal sensitivity is a personality that’s too sensitive to others’ behaviors, recognition and feeling. The study of Interpersonal sensitivity as a personality in foreign countries have been more than 20 years. The mainly research method of this field is Questionnaire. The mainly research field is the relationship between Interpersonal sensitivity and depression, anxiety, age, sex, aggression, perfectionism, interpersonal communication, coping style, parental rearing pattern and so on. In recent years, with the introduction of our country on the concept of interpersonal sensitivity, researchers began to study interpersonal sensitivity under the background of Chinese culture.This study based on the research at home and abroad. At first, study of interpersonal sensitivity are reviewed, and then discusses the characteristics of interpersonal sensitivity of junior middle school students. At last we study the relationship between interpersonal sensitivity and memory bias. Eventually we reached the following conclusions:1. Interpersonal sensitivity of junior middle school is relatively low, but the score of need for approval and separation anxiety are higher than other dimension.2. Gender, origin of student, whether the only child will affect the interpersonal sensitivity of individual.3. Parental education level and the growth environment have a significant effect on children’ interpersonal sensitivity.4. Individuals of high interpersonal sensitivity showed a more clear memory bias effect when they are processing different kind of words. That is they have a higher recognition rate of negatively evaluate words than individuals of low interpersonal sensitivity. We also found that students have a higher recognition rate of negatively evaluate words no matter what his/her interpersonal sensitivity is.5. Students of high interpersonal sensitivity tend to recall more negative items than students of low interpersonal sensitivity.
